RULES, RULES, RULES
SIGNING UP[/li][/ul]
- Any User name can be used, though please do not be crude or rude with it.
- The first thing you must do is read and sign the Terms of Service Disclaimer.
It is very necessary considering the rating of this forum and the genre of writing. Not only is it safe for the forum, but it is safe for your writing; I do not want either getting deleted.
RESPECT
- Show respect to the administrators, moderators, and members alike.
Insults are not tolerated whatsoever.
Don't be a drama-queen.
I really do hate drama-queens. - Derogatory comments definitely count as insults.
As for as In Character, in long-form role play, derogatory terms are acceptable.
POSTING
- In the areas specifically for long-form role play, please do your best to write literately.
This rule is going to be very lax for reasons which I will not disclose due to the comfort of some players. - I will not put a minimum word count on role play posts; however, when your partner spends two hours on writing 3,000 characters, do not reply with one paragraph. It is extremely frustrating as well as disrespectful.
GRAPHICS
- Banners need be no larger than 550 pixels in width and 200 pixels in height.
- Avatars must be, at maximum, 100x100 pixels.
- No obnoxious optical illusions such as rapidly spinning 'hypnotic' images, or strobes.
Not only are they an instant migraine inducer, but sometimes they can cause seizures for people with epilepsy.
LIMITS
- You may claim no more than three faces in the face claim.
- I am setting a character sign-up limit to a maximum number of three.
It is hard enough paying attention to one main character in this game. Not only that, but it is unfair to the people you role play your characters with. Do not neglect one for another. - No word limit. See above in POSTING.
COMMON SENSE
- Do not do multiple posts in a row; we have the modify button for a reason.
- No spamming the forum.
- Advertise in the appropriate place.
Failure to follow this rule will count as spam and get you a warning. - If something you say sounds offensive, or you just are not sure, follow your gut instinct and DO NOT POST IT.
- Follow the Proboards Terms of Service.
Google is a useful tool.
RATING
- This forum is rated M for mature.
This is not an X-Rated forum for sexual role play or heavy gore; it is, however, a slightly-gritty RPG forum. Basically, I cannot tell what the future holds, so I do not know what might be written. If your role play meets this rating, please be courteous and post some kind of warning in your subject line, such as X-rating etc. If you aren't sure, you can always ask me to read it first. - If you are younger than sixteen years of age, turn around.
As we all know, some weird things happen on the internet. I will not risk deletion of my board because a parent reported it to Proboards Service, nor will I be a babysitter. - Do not underestimate me. I will know if you don't follow this guidelines. I have eyes, seven of 'em.
ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
- As this site is set in an alternate universe it means there are no cannons so do not apply or ask for one. You may use them as face claims but do not copy any skills, feel free to base attacks off of ones in the manga. Please make sure you do not imitate any canon's personality.
- Male Claymores are very common in this site, however they are much more septic to awakening than that of females.
- A lot of the Claymore universe was left un-spoken of or not revelled meaning we as a site are free to play around!
COMBAT
- Combat will occur on this form, if it does not I will be disappointed. Felt the need to point that out.
- Combat threads will be treated as being ‘non-death enabled’ unless stated in the first post of the thread. By responding to the thread you have basically stated you are happy with entering the death enabled thread.
- The only exception to the above rule is in events where the rule is in reverse. All threads are treated as death enabled unless stated otherwise. Entering events risks, though you can reap many rewards to heighten your character.
- Within combat ‘god-moding’ is obviously not allowed, G-moding are such things as auto hitting, dodging every attack, using powers or abilities not stated on your application and so on. If a person is seen doing this they will feel the wrath of the staff team.
