Character Advancement and Ranks
Characters can be created at varying strengths; some can be created as the leading Claymore, while some may simply be a young child trying to find his way in life. Though both can evolve and expand in skill and talents, this is done in multiple ways. Though each character of a certain rank gains one of the following, then depending on their race they may gain an extra.
Ability Token (AT)
Each ability token (AT) means that a character can have a new power or ability that can be battle related, empathic and so on. Though this starts off as being weak and with time it will increase in power, allowing the character to accomplish more with the selected power.[/blockquote]
Ability Increase Token (AIT)
Each ability increase token (AIT) means that a character can increase the potency of an attack or power they started with or gained via an AT. Making the ability more formidable, a power has no limit to the number of AITs applied to it. Though in the end it is your choice if you focus all of your AITs onto one power, or if you spread them out.[/blockquote]
Equivalent Rank Increase (ERI)
An Equivalent Rank Increase is very rare, and gaining one of these allows you to increase you Equivalent Rank by one. This will make your character faster, stronger and so on. Meaning it has a larger effect on your character. Though these are rather rare to come across so do not expect to see them often!
Magic Item Token (MIT)
These are also very rare and only high ranking characters will start off with these. Each MIT will allow the character to have one item that possess a magical property, be it minor (allowing the person to move a little faster) or something major (such as pass through physical objects). These are very important and are normally given out as rewards from events or contests, so keep your eyes peeled.

Ranks
Ranks range from Prime, down to one-hundred. The smaller the number, the stronger the person, in most cases at least. If a person rank 46 went up against rank 23, we would expect rank 23 to win with relative ease…Though his is not taking in special abilities and so on into account, which can normally tilt the battle in the favour of either fighter.
A person ranked between Prime and Ten will gain; Three Ability Tokens (AT), Two Ability Increase Tokens (AIT) and Two Magic Item Tokens (MIT).
A person ranked between eleven and thirty will gain; Two Ability Tokens (AT), One Ability Increase Token (AIT) and One Magic Item Token (MIT).
A person ranked between thirty-one and sixty will gain; One Ability Token (AT), and One Ability Increase Token (AIT)
A person ranked between sixty-one and one-hundred will gain; One Ability Token (AT).
People of different races may also gain additional tokens, please check here[/blockquote][/blockquote]
