Organization Rules
These are just a selection of rules that Claymores and Guiders should follow, laid down by the council members. These rules only apply for people working for the Organization, and are simply in character rules. If broken it does not affect the person behind the character, instead it will affect the character instead. Leading to them being hunted, removed from missions and so on. However, if no one knows you have broken the rules, you cannot be punished.
Rule 1 – Human safety
People that work under the Organization are not allowed to directly kill a human, be them a commoner, bandit or a highly regarded criminal. Unless they are ordered to by council members, though this is rare. A person under the Organization may enter combat, and wound a human, though killing is not allowed. Simply put, a Claymore is not allowed to carry out a fatal strike on a human. No exceptions, breaking of this rule will lead to the person being labelled as a traitor and hunted as soon as the council hear of the incident.
Rule 2 – Orders
Orders from above are classed as being absolute, be the person one rank above you or ten ranks above you. If an order is given out, then it must be followed. Going against the order itself is classed as disrespect to the higher ranking officer and the Organization itself. Breaking this rule will only cause you to have minor punishments, such as being removed high-level assignments and assigned to less entertaining jobs. However there are exceptions to this rule, if you are given an order from one person that is a single rank above you, and then someone of even higher rank gives you a new order contradicting the original. Then you must follow the higher ranking officer’s order, along with this if an order given to you would mean that you have to break one of the other rules then the order itself can be ignored.
Rule 3 – Hunting
If a Claymore or Guider is to come across a traitor of the Organization then they must attempt to learn as much about the person as possible. Be it through conversation or combat, once any information is learnt this must be immediately relayed back to the council. If the person is of lower rank than you, then you are expected to kill or bring back the traitor. Ignoring this can cause you to be seen in a worse light by the council, which can have multiple affects upon you.
