Physical Description~ Navarr stands at a total of 6’2 and with this normally towers above most people he meets, which in turn is normally used as a form of intimidation when needed. His body is rather slender, like all Claymores, his body is compact making him strong while allowing him to be light. Meaning he normally deceives people that meet him, which is always something he likes the idea of. As Navarr came from the northern lands, where the sun rarely hides, he has an olive colour skin that seems soft and fresh. Instead of the worn and tattered a human would have if they lived the life he did, the reason for this simple difference is due to the slow healing process his body undergoes. Though, this skin of his is almost always hidden behind his armour, which covers all of his body, from head to toe.
His face, which is hidden behind a mask, is something few see. If one person is too see his face it normally leads to death, as he only shows his face to those he deems as worthy opponents. Very few have seen his face and lived to see the sunrise the next day, one of these people being his guider. His face is not something that should be hidden, he bears no scars and neither does he have a deformed face. He simply dislikes the idea of people being able to picture his face, which is has rather clean cut features as if they were carved from stone. His eyes a bright silver, as cold as stone and seem to never waver from their target.
His hair on the other hand is long and wild, reaching the bottom of his neck with ease, it flows like a river in the mountains. On some occasions his head will be braided, something he does when bored. When he made the change from a human to a Claymore the deep brown colour that once lay within his hair was slowly drained away leaving the bright blonde locks instead. Though he has grown accustomed to them in these past years and has for a long time come to love the hair, refusing to cut it for any other reason than if he does not death will follow.
The amour that plates his body holds the traditional colour of the Claymores, that being of a dark grey. Though his does not glisten in the sun or shine in the moon light, his is almost always dirty, though do not let this fool you. His armour is looked after, each fragment checked every morning in an hour long expectation. He has simply never seen the need to clean the armour unless it was somehow performing at a lower standard than normal. The grey is a colour void of life and joy, much like the life of a Claymore, and Navarr in particular. The armour is made of many separate parts meaning it takes a great deal of time to take on and off correctly, though Navarr is more than capable of ripping the armour off, albeit breaking it in the process. The lining colour for his weapon is simply black, which only slightly stands out against the dull grey. Around his waist he has two separate belts, the first is a thick and plated with metal, in here he stores a number of minor items which will be listed in due time. The second is simply leather and hangs below his right hip, this allows him to attach his weapons sheaths lower down and making them easier for him to draw them.
Over his hands he wears two layers, the first being a pair of thick brown leather gloves that allow gripping of a weapon to be easier. This is due to how the leather has been formed, the palm of the gloves are lined with tiny teeth that grip in the handle of the weapon. Making it that much harder to disarm him, it may seem little but every bit helps when you are fighting for your life. On his shoulders he wears a pair of metal shoulder pads, his left bearing his family crest. That of a raven flying, this is where his title originated from and how many people recognise him today. Coming off of both shoulder pads are small metal guards that surround his neck, protecting his neck and jugular from minor attacks. Though a powerful swing would be able to break through them with little to no problem.
Over his left shoulder he has his cape, this is the part of his clothing that holds the most colour. That colour being a crimson red, the cape has been with him ever since he began his life as a Claymore and is the only thing that he has kept with him throughout his years as a claymore, other than the weapon he holds dear. The cape drapes behind him and is as much part of his armour as his chest plate, weaved into the cape itself are small strands of metal which are tightly packed together. Though they cannot be seen with the naked eye if someone was to touch the cape or weigh it then it would become obvious it is not just a cape.
The cape itself does little against close combat attacks other than slow a weapon’s swing, though against range weapons it can become a devastating defence. This will be explained below in due time.

Persona
Likes~[/li][/ul]
- Naps – One could call Navarr lazy, they would not be wrong. He may take it the wrong way, that is something that people cannot deny but laziness is something that he has never got rid of.
- Crème of sweet-corn soup – His favourite meal. As a Claymore Navarr does not require a large amount of substance in his diet meaning he can easily live off a bowl of soup for a good few days without any real problem. Seeing as he has only a few meals he likes them to be good, and for that reason he aims to always have Crème of sweet-corn soup.
- Weaponry – Navarr has a keen interest in weapons, be these his own or an enemies. He can normally be found inspecting the weapons of fallen foes or comrades, if he likes a weapon then he will normally take it. The only exception is he refuses to take the Claymore of a fallen comrade.
- Foes – Navarr is one that loves a good fight, and a good fight requires a good foe. Though Navarr has no problem killing an enemy he sees it as a waste to kill a skilled warrior. At the end of the day however it is his job to kill and he does his job without question.
- Stories – Perhaps one of the few childish traits he has held onto as closely as possible, Navarr is one that loves a story. Be it a short written book or a long twisted story oozing from the mouth of an old man around a fire. If Navarr can ever hear a story he will try his best to stick around and hear it till the end.
Dislikes~
- Haste – Navarr is un-naturally fast, though his armour weighs him down a fair amount. Because of this fact he likes to take things slowly, be it a fight, eating or simply walking from one town to another. The idea of being under a time limit is one he hates, normally pushing him into a rather foul mood.
- High Pitched Voices– They drive him nuts, they always seem to cause him a serious head ache and can quickly cause his mood to spiral downwards.
- Spice – One thing Navarr hates in food is too much spice, not that he is allergic to it or anything lethal. It is simply because he hates the burning sensation upon his tongue and around his mouth.
- Teams – Navarr does not like the idea of working in a team, once every few months he may long for the idea of fighting in a team. However, most of the time he favours to be by himself and have no one hampering him.
Drive~
- Vengeance – This is most likely Navarr’s most powerful drive, after the death of his close comrade Tekra he has held an intense hatred for his partners killer. This is the reason he has gained power throughout the years and gained the rank he now has, though this reason alone is not all.
- Respect and Fear – Both are things that Navarr likes to have direct at him, be it one at a time or both at once it does not matter. He loves the idea of people knowing his name and either holding a great amount of respect for him or fearing his power.
Goals~
- Vengeance – This is closely related to his drive, and as you may have guessed revolves around the same being. One of his main goals is simply to kill the creature that took his friends life.
- Find a foe – Navarr has never once found an opponent that has pushed him to his limit, very few even cause him to release any Yoki. So finding an opponent that can push him to the brink to defeat is something he would love, not that he wants to be defeated however.
Personality~
What is the best way to describe this man? That is indeed a hard task for anyone to take on. Is the man one that fights for light, a shining warrior that fights for his golden believes, a man that purges the darkness in the world. No, Navarr is not that man, nor are the people he works for, like many of the single digit Claymores he has come to learn there is more to the Organization. What exactly he does not know, though it breeds fear within his heart and mind. In the end Navarr is part human and can feel fear, regret and hate like any other human. The only difference is that he can hide it a great deal better and push the feeling to the back of his mind, locking them away. Which is one thing he does a great deal, keeping his emotions locked away whenever possible. Seeing them as both as a burden and a liability, in this world there are many people that can read emotions with ease, and Navarr wishes not to be an open book to them.
Navarr is not one with ill intent, though he does not kill Yoma because it is the right thing to do. He only does it because his job calls for it, nothing more and nothing less. He is not a person that understands the meaning of honour; many people seem to speak of honour in a fight. To Navarr they are simply fools that need a reason for being defeated and are not willing to admit their own weaknesses. In a fight Navarr would gladly use any trick in the book, he has no sense of honour and no real comprehension of pride. He may take pride in his ability to fight, but no pride in how he goes about doing it. A saying that would easily summarise his thinking on this matter would be the following.“The end justifies the means.”
This can put him in a bad light for a number of people, these people normally have conflicting views with Navarr on more than one subject. In the end you cannot get on with everyone and there will be people out there you cannot befriend, Navarr realised that a long time ago and with that has given up trying to bond with people. You could call this a weakness or a strength, in terms of his personality it is most likely a weakness. With seclusion comes spite and hate, the worst part is that these feeling are all self inflicted. He made the choice to separate himself from the world, he was not pushed away by the people around him. Favouring the life of solitude does, as stated, have negative effects.
After being alone for a rather long time instead of longing for social interaction he comes to hate it, becoming slightly repulsed by the idea. Hence his dis-like towards team work or group missions, both things that would involve some form of social interaction. Being alone for as long as Navarr has can cause a few minor problems for a person’s mentality, and Navarr is no exception, slowly but surely he has begun his decent into madness. The fall itself has only just begun, but with each day that passes his mentality becomes worse and worse.
As the years have passed him by they have slowly warn away at him, removing any real sense of humour. You could label Navarr as being dull in this respect, never one to pick up on jokes, or you could say he simply does not find it funny. It is normally rather hard to tell with the man, seeing as his face is constantly hidden behind the mask, which is simply another separation between him and society. A way to hide his emotionless face from the world he inhabits, keeping him separated from the people that will one day die. A person that meets Navarr will come to learn that he does create many different blockades between himself and the world, normally resting outside of settlements.

Character Statistics
Fighting Specialty~Navarr is a person that favours an offensive role in combat, normally sticking to fighting with a single weapon though is skilled at fighting unarmed and with two weapons. For this reason he excels in one on one combat, he is seen as one of the most formidable Claymores in one on one combat. However he becomes less lethal when in a team as he normally forgets about tactics.[/li][/ul]
Skills~
- Yoki Sense – Navarr has an incredible skill when it comes to sensing Yoki energy and for this reason has gained the nickname ‘the eye.’ Seen as one of the top Yoki sensors in the Organization he is normally called upon when recon is needed to be carried out at a distance. Being able to sense the presence of Yoki up to two miles away and even suppressed Yoki at one hundred feet. The ability itself is constantly in use in combat, making him a hard opponent to face as he can sense the channel of Yoki in Claymores, Yoma and Gudier. Though he cannot do this with ordinary humans.
- Power – Navarr has a great deal of power in his swing, even when no Yoki energy has been used. In his natural form he is normally between two to three times stronger than a human, making him incredibly hard to battle in close combat as his strikes hold such force. Being capable of ploughing through walls or buildings to reach his target, giving him a somewhat barbaric approach to combat.
- Versatile – Due to his keen interest in weaponry Navarr is skilled in many times of weapon use, although he focuses in Claymore. For this reason he is capable of taking up a bow and performing above average in combat with it, along with most over weapons. Yet due to his battle style and armour he does not normally perform very well with speed based weapons.
- Natural skill – Unlike many Claymores Navarr was a born fighter and holds skills and training from before he became a Claymore. This means that his need for releasing Yoki is much less than most Claymores, as his skill can normally equal those of lower rank with 30% release with the need to release his own energy.
Negetives~
- Slowed – Normally Navarr has a great deal of speed which would equate to his given rank, though due to his armour his speed has dropped down making his speed his weakest attribute. With his armour on his speed falls to equal that of someone holding the rank of number three.
- Aggressive – Navarr does not understand the meaning of ‘going light’ which makes it very hard for him to simply spar or train with someone. Which in turn can limit his progression in terms of skill.
- No-mercy – Navarr is not one to let a foe survive, he goes out to kill and to kill only. For this reason he is not chosen for snatch and grab missions or when an individual must be secured alive. This makes his mission selection limited and only allows him to participate in elimination missions.
- Limited movement – Due to how his armour is made Navarr can find it hard to guard around the back of his neck and head, which makes this his main weak point.
Weapons~
- Primary Claymore – Navarr has his own primary Claymore which holds his symbol, and a unique property. The length of the whole weapon just reaches a total of 60” with 14” of the weapon being the handle, leaving 46” (3 foot ten inches) for the blade itself. The weapon is made from the same metal as most Claymores and for this reason is very durable, never denting or breaking no matter what it goes up against. Running along the blade of the weapon a few words have been inscribed into the weapon, yet they seem to be in a lost language, and Navarr lost his interest in the words many years ago. The property of the weapon is one that could be labelled as being offensive in terms of use. The weapon itself holds a property that Navarr has come to label ‘stacking,’ if the blade blocks multiple attacks (max of four) without attacking between the blocks it can build up the energy and release it in one powerful swing. Though this property only works when Navarr places his own Yoki into the weapon, the attack is only limited to five uses in each thread.
- Secondary; Gladius – Navarr uses a weapon that is known as a ‘Gladius.’ Like his primary weapon the Gladius is double edged meaning that it is rather useful at drawing blood. The handle of the weapon has a number of ridges and is slightly bigger than Navarr’s hand, meaning it can only be held in one hand. The total length of the sword is 75 cm (about 29.5 inches), this is including the handle. Due to its small size the weapon is rather light, the weapon weighs just other one Kg and for this reason Navarr’s thrusts and slashes with this weapon are a great deal faster than with his Claymore. The weapon itself holds no special properties but does on occasions act as a throwing weapon, due to its light weight and Navarr’s immense strength the speed of which it can be thrown is very high and can turn the short sword into a lethal projectile.
Armour~
Navarr’s armour derives from ‘full plate’ though each of Navarr’s segments are slightly thicker than the average plate armour meaning they are sturdier at the price of being heavier. His armour has a semi-bevor and protects his neck to a degree, the color scheme is rather dull and consists of mainly dark grey. There are very few weak points in his armour, though it is not perfect and flaws exist within it. A foe must simply test it to find them, though they can normally be located under the armpits and behind the knees, though these areas are normally hard to strike with a clean blow.
The armour holds a rather helpful property which he has come to call ‘resonance,’ each strike made against him has its own frequency and when a solid weapon strikes the armour the frequency is passed onto the armour meaning it has the same frequency. This has two effects, one against weapons with the same frequency and one against weapons of different frequency. If a weapon has the same frequency, as in is the same type of attack, then it causes the weapon to bounce off of the armour rending the majority of the attack useless. For weapons of different frequency it only removes a small portion of the power (ranging from 0% to 20%) this all depends on how similar the new attack is to the original. The armour however imitates the most recent attack made against it, meaning that Navarr has little control over it.
Fighting style~ When in a fight Navarr is normally very aggressive, not one to stay still and wait for the opponent to attack him. No matter who it is, he is confident in his own ability that not many people can challenge him in combat, be it through skill or strength. He is one that tries not to release his Yoki unless he has to, thinking that it is his ace in the hole and best not used. Due to his high skill and strength without the use Yoki it is something that is not often used in combat. This means he will normally engage in most fights with zero Yoki release, using his high physical strength to his advantage when in a fray.
He will normally keep close, attempting to cut off the limbs of an opponent with powerful strikes and flurries of his short sword, after all if a person has no arms they cannot wield a weapon. Navarr has a good number of ‘abilities’ which he is capable of using in battle, though these are rarely called upon and for this reason are often not known about. Giving him the element of surprise in combat, even if faced up against fellow Claymore.
Navarr’s skill with a blade is something to be feared, after many years of training under various mentors his physical strength and skill with a blade is far greater than the average Claymores’ of his rank. Navarr is also capable of injuring Guiders with his weapons, which shows his prowess and skill with that release form. Though there are a good few that find his attacks laughable. This skill is something that has come with much training and his natural skill, not many people can gloat about being able to wound a Guider. Then again, not many Claymores enter frays with Guiders.
On rare occasions Navarr will release his Yoki, this normally only occurs when he faces high-level awakened beings and Commanders. Though even during these frays it is rare for him to pass the 30% release state, seeing as anything more is normally overkill and propels his physical strength to an unreliable level. To the point where his physical strength can become self-destructive, meaning it is something he hates to do.
Abilities~
- Shuddering strike – Navarr is able to build up a large amount of Yoki into a weapon he holds, with the build up of energy his weapon begins to shake, at first slowly but after a while (three posts) the weapon begins to shake violently. Upon striking an object (armour, weapon or object) he is able to release this built up Yoki with the attack. This Yoki dissipates from his own weapon and enters the object the Yoki will begin to vibrate at the same level of severity as it did when Navarr struck out. However, this only last for two rounds at most. At its maximum it can normally cause people to lose grip of their weapon (if not strong enough to overcome the shaking motion) or causes them to go off balance (if armour is effected). This weapon uses a small amount of Yoki, though each time it is used the Narvarr’s own weapon weakens and for this reason can only be used four times before the weapon must be repaired.
- Sense Yoki – This is most likely Navarr’s most keen and dangerous ability, he is the strongest sensor among the Claymores. However, there are a few Guiders and Humans that can surpass his talent in this area. Navarr is more than able of sensing Yoki up to four miles away for normal release Yoma and Claymores. Though with stronger and more powerful Yoki’s the distance can increase to six miles, and vice versa when the Yoki is suppressed. Though it normally takes up to four years of suppression for Navarr to be unable to detect the energy within a being. If within twenty feet then he can get a hazy image of the person’s Yoki and its flow, allowing him to understand people’s attack patterns and plan against them.
- Pressurise – With the large amount of Yoki that Navarr posses he is able to release it around him, intensifying the pressure around him. This normally hampers his opponent’s movements and hence attacks, though people with an equal or greater Yoki mass (normally equivalent rank 1 or better) are less affected. The greater the gap between Navarr’s and his foe’s Yoki/energy mass determines the affect, ranging from causing his foe to collapse to the floor or simply slowly his foe’s movements a little. The area of effect has a maximum of thirty foot centred around him, though this can be reduced to strengthen the force felt. This is able to be used five times due to his large amount of Yoki, though ever Yoki stage he goes up he gains one more use.
- Extending Limbs – By forcing Yoki into his limbs and swing he is able to extend the limb infused with Yoki, allowing him to stretch up to a total range of forty foot. For this reason the armour around his limbs are rather loose and can extend with the limbs, though each time used the armour itself weakens. With the extending limbs he is capable of fighting foes at a distance if he needs, but that is not his favoured form or combat. Meaning this trait is not used too often in combat, so with lack of use it can only be used three times before wearing away at him.
